The Happy News is...... winding down for the year 2007. I've been thinking about themes for the Happy News in 2008 and one of my greatest sources of happiness this past year has been my friends. Friends bring so much more of the good stuff into my life. I am filled with gratitude that I have been able to have many good times with friends in 2007. Because of my wide and varied interests I have made many new friends this past year too, at Church, at coffee club, craft get-togethers, my d.d.'s (dear daughter) home-school group, my entrepreneur group, members of my Avon team (including adoptees), other Avon Representatives and my many, many Avon Friends (who just happen to be customers too). I written about friends before in The Happy News because having good friends enhances happiness and life satisfaction and recently I purchased a new SARK book called the “Fabulous Friendship Festival” and I am going to follow that theme for at least the first half of 2008.
Before I close this edition of The Happy News I want to remind all my dear readers (friends) of The Happy News of the “reason for the season”; the birth of the Baby in Bethlehem who 33 years later “laid down His life for his friends” (you and me) (John 15:13-15)so that we all might have life and have it more abundantly. (John 10:10). That is my Christmas prayer and heart's desire for the New Year..... abundance of life in 2008 for all of us.
